These kicks made their first appearance as Marty Mcfly’s Nike shoes in “Back To The Future 3” and have since become one of the most iconic silhouettes in pop culture. Nike officially released the Nike Air Mags in 2015, the exact year that the movie took place. The shoes raised a total of 6.75 million dollars towards the Michael J Fox Foundation, which was dedicated towards Parkinson’s research. They are currently the world’s most expensive pair of shoes, and we think that it’ll keep its position for quite some time. Its LED’s may not completely justify its exorbitant price, but they sure are a neat addition. Unfortunately, the original Nike Air mag’s do not feature a built-in self-tying shoelace system – but don’t lose faith, the technology is readily available on the newest edition and the Nike Hyper Adapt!
